ARCHITECTURE PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE ERIC TABARLY - VANNES (56)

A NEW PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE
As part of the rehabilitation of the left bank of the port of Vannes, a new crossing point of the Marle is then thought. A new pedestrian bridge is then requested by the Town Hall. The footbridge will be located near the parking of the Capuchins.
This one is part of a biomorphic architecture, like the work of Calatrava on the Ground Zero metro station. Imagine with metal sections resuming the shape that evokes the flight of a bird. In view of the fluvial activity, it was necessary to think it mobile. This bridge is pivoting on its only immersed pile.
